Job Description: Job Title: NHS - Business Development Manager - Cloud Infrastructure
Basic Salary £Dependant on experience from £45,000
OTE £100,000 (based on £45k basic)
First Year £75,000 (allowing for first quarter ramp up)
Location Home based with 1 day per week in the office in North West
Summary
I am working with a company in the North West who are looking for a Business Development Manager who is focused on new business acquisition within the NHS. This will be mainly home based however with the requirement to go into the office once a week.
As a MSP level partner of VMware they provide cloud data/infrastructure solutions into the NHS. One solution that is a focus for our client is Virtual Desktop Infrastructure as they have created a bespoke solution specifically for the NHS which is already proving very popular.
This solution allows the NHS to separate the desktop environment and associated application software from the physical client device. This solution solves a lot of problems within the NHS and with a consumption based pricing model, it allows for highly competitive pricing.
As a VMware partner you will need to have a good technical knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and networking as a re-seller. As well as this you will be able to confidently lead conversations with senior stakeholders discussing the benefits of removing on premises services such as VM Hardware and move to a cloud platform.
Our client work in a very consultative manner meaning that as a Business Development Manager you will be expected to work in a solution sales method, this will require full understanding of the clients needs and issues with current service and build a package that would fit their needs.
Previous experience of costing and selling on a Cloud and consumption-based service if highly advantageous as this is a key benefit of one of the companies offerings.
This is a new business focused position selling solely into the NHS, due to this previous NHS sales experience is essential. For the right candidate our client is willing to put together a package that would attract the best in industry.
