Working for a well-established NHS organisation you will input all referrals onto the NHS e-Referral system, undertake informed choice conversations with patients, book appointments on behalf of patients, and monitor referral activity. You will also be responsible for booking in individuals Covid vacinations.

Day to day responsibilities:

* Input all urgent and routine GP referrals onto the e-Referral system for onward referral (or via email where the service is not published on the e-Referral system)

* Provide a point of contact for all GP practice staff, provider organisations and patient queries regarding the status of referrals including the ownership of any actions required for; referral rejections, cancellations, or if the patient changes their mind about where they wish to be seen

* Deal with routine enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate

* Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant departments/person

* Able to navigate and date input into excel spread-sheets to a high level of competency, ensure back-ups are taken every day

This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a high profile expanding Referral Support Team aiming to deliver better health quality and standards in the area. For these positions you need to have previous experience of working within a Customer Services / Call Centre environment with basic IT / Computer skills including Excel. These roles are to start ASAP and will pay between £9.09 to £10.45 + HP & Pension PAYE or £10.98 - £12.72 Umbrella per hour depending on your level of experience. Inside IR35

Job Description: Hunter AHP Resourcing have several urgent locum opportunities based in south Wales for hospital experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join a large NHS hospital team on a 4/5 month basis, to assist with the increased pressure of the covid-19 pandemic.

Our client in the region is currently seeking x4 Locum Band 6/7/8a Pharmacists on an immediate basis (Jan 2021), to work across the main site of the trust.

The service is based within a driveable distance of both Cardiff and Newport in Wales, with free parking offered on site.

The work involved will be a mix of wards and inpatient dispensary, covering medicines reconciliation and clinical screening. There may be some outpatient cover here too. Wards will be a mixture of medical and surgical cover, and there will likely be covid-19 patients ward cover too, so you will need to be comfortable working in this area.

These locum roles are due to start immediately, with a general working pattern of Monday – Friday, 5 days per week, 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch, however part time working will also be considered here.

The service can offer contract lengths on a long term basis here, the emphasis on this role is very much ASAP starts, they can be flexible on rate, times of the day, part time/full time hours.
Pay rate for this role will depend on your prior experience and banding.

– £30 – £40 per hour
– Covid Ward/dispensary work – NHS Hospital service
– Start date: Immediately! (Jan 2021)
– Duration: 4/5 months (likely to extend)
– Full OR Part time hours accepted – but no weekend working available.

The role sits within the Facilities team and will report/support the Assistant Facilities Manager. You will conduct regular audits of the property portfolio, checking, challenging and validating contractor work - both on-site and in written documentation, including mechanical and electrical (M&E) work and other related services. You will liaise with appointed Authorised Engineers (AE's) and subject matter specialists, to ensure systems and services remain within tolerance and are fully compliant. You will also validate the monthly report provided by the FM Service Provider, the CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) data and report on all reactive and planned performance maintenance data.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of NHS or Healthcare environments along with a technical qualifications in a relevant M&E field. You will have experience of auditing or performance management and experience of preparing monitoring systems/auditing tools. It is also key that you have strong verbal and written communication skills and have prior experience of writing reports.

The post holder will provide an efficient and high quality rostering data administration service supporting the use and maintenance of electronic rostering throughout the trust including integration with the temporary staffing system.

The post holder will provide high quality reports and analysis at all levels within the organisation and for external stakeholders.

1. System Administration

Responsible for the regular maintenance of various workforce systems to evaluate and ensure that both ESR (Electronic Staff Records) and eRostering databases are synchronised via system interface.

Provide system administration ensuring accurate maintenance of data within the system and allocation of appropriate user responsibilities.

Maintenance of high quality data within the system through data cleansing.

Responsible for the production and maintenance of project protocols and standard operating procedures as developed by the Project Team.

1. Implementation and system support

Act as first level support for access and software issues diagnosing and resolving day to day system queries, errors or malfunctions independently escalating issues where necessary.

Assist with the management and support of the increasing user base for the system, including the provision of trainer to new starter users updating training materials and user manuals as required.

Liaise with the Suppliers to ensure that the system is available and accessible to all users.

1. Performance management

Support the design, implementation and upkeep of an effective system to evaluate and measure system software benefits.

To collect and prepare activity data as directed including efficiency indicators on roster production, utilisation of staff and performance of the software.

Assist in the evaluation and assessment of the software's benefits producing reports where necessary.

Assist in the preparation and distribution of KPI reports on an agreed, regular basis.

To participate in analysis and audit of information produced by the eRostering system.

Utilise the message board and regional user group network to facilitate sharing of best practice with other implementation sites.

Support the relationship and communication with the software supplier through effective administrative processes.

Use a variety of communication methods and tools to actively promote the system and engage operational and clinical users where barriers to understanding and resistance to change may occur.

Communications will involve highly complex and contentious information and will be:

* Face to face and by telephone

* Within formal and informal meetings

* Written, letters, memorandum, e-mail, and reports

* Presentations

Ability and commitment to develop and maintain excellent working relationships across a wide variety of disciplines
