Job Description: Hunter AHP Resourcing have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician with prior NHS hospital experience, to join a medium sized hospital service based in scenic Portsmouth, a stones’ throw from the coast line!
Our client is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to start as soon as possible, to cover a 3 – 4 month post until a permanent member of staff is found for their team.
The role will be to cover both a mixture of dispensary services, and being out on the wards, completing medicines reconciliation and counselling. The ideal candidate will have experience in both of these area of pharmacy, however applicants with one or the other will be considered. You will need to very be confident in a hospital environment, as there will be some independent working involved here, however most of the time you will be working within the multidisciplinary team. You will also need to be comfortable being in a patient facing role, with a possibility of covering covid wards.
The working pattern will be 5 days per week, Monday – Friday, with flexible start and end times of the day available. The main working pattern will be 9am – 5pm with 30 mins for lunch, however this may be flexible.
This hospital service is based within a commutable distance to much of the south coast by car, and there is also parking available on site, which is currently free.
Pay rate for this role will depend on your prior experience and banding.
– £15 – £21 per hour
