Job Description: Hunter AHP Resourcing have a wonderful opportunity for a hospital experienced Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician to join a large NHS Trust in the heart of Essex, in Southend.
The service is not far from a major train station that connects well to central London, so is accessible from most of the capital within 30 – 40 minutes.
The role is for a Band 3/4 locum Pharmacy Assistant or Technician, to work across the inpatient and outpatient pharmacy dispensaries of the service, dispensing medication and liaising with the on site Pharmacists, and possibly accuracy checking if you have the accreditation (this only applied to technicians).
The ideal applicant will have at least 6 months to 1 years NHS or private hospital experience, although less experienced applicants may be considered. Possibly those from the community setting may be considered for this role, so this does present the opportunity to gain hospital based work experience within the NHS!
This role is due to start on the 23rd November, is a full time role – 5 days per week, and will be ongoing for at least 6 months. The hours are 9am – 5pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.
There will also be onsite accommodation available for those who may consider relocating for this post, and there is free parking on site.
